Peter Koehler
Peter Koehler began his insurance career with the Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company in 1976. After two years of home office and university training in insurance and tax planning he joined his father Vincent W. Koehler, also in the life insurance industry, to form Koehler, Koehler & Associates a life, investment and health insurance brokerage firm.
Following Vince Koehler’s career path, Pete as a Partner at Koehler Koehler & Associates helped design, administer and offer investment advice for many Pre-ERISA defined benefit pension plans. The natural flow from this work was the brokerage and administration of employees group health insurance plans, 401k plans, voluntary employee benefit plans and employee retirement planning.
Because of Pete’s close involvement with the decision makers and owners of many closely held family businesses he also assisted his clients in the areas of business and family continuation plans, buy-sell agreements, corporately owned life insurance and estate planning.
Peter attended Marmion Military Academy and Southern Illinois University. He is a lifelong resident of St. Charles where he continues to reside with his wife Grace. They have 3 grown children and one granddaughter.
Anna Koehler
Anna Koehler holds a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences from the University of Iowa. Anna began her financial career in 2005 with Allstate Financial’s Structured Settlement department. While with Allstate Structured Settlements, Anna managed claim and document reviews. She has also worked on Allstate’s sales team where she wholesaled term, permanent and variable life and annuity products to financial advisors, banks, wirehouses and Allstate agents.
Anna Koehler joined her father, Peter at Koehler, Koehler Inc. in 2012. Together Anna and Peter operate Koehler, Koehler Inc., managing their current clientele while looking for new prospective clients. Anna is active in the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce and the Fox Valley Chamber of Commerce. When she is not running after her daughter, Emma, she enjoys running with her dogs, gardening, reading, knitting, going to concerts and spending time with her family and friends. Anna resides in St. Charles, Illinois, with her husband, Dan, and their daughter, Emma.
